Mr. Sepersky is in his 18th year of teaching music. For the last 14 years, he has taught 5K through 8th grade music in the School District of South Milwaukee. He has taught the entire time at Blakewood Elementary, and has also shared time with E. W. Luther Elementary and South Milwaukee Middle Schools. Prior to his time in South Milwaukee, Mr. Sepersky taught high school choir and show choir in Iowa. Mr. Sepersky loves using technology in the classroom to help personalize learning and increase achievement. He has presented at many conferences in Wisconsin and Illinois about the role of technology in teaching and learning. | ![]() | In the 2010-2011 school year, Mr. Sepersky was a Kohl Fellowship award winner, an award recognizing distinguished educators in Wisconsin founded by Senator Herb Kohl. Mr. Sepersky is one of three South Milwaukee music educators who have received this honor. Mr. Sepersky has two Master's degrees in Education, the most recent is a Master's in Educational Leadership from Alverno College. Mr. Sepersky and his wife have three daughters. He is very involved at Divine Mercy Parish in South Milwaukee. Mr. Sepersky loves technology, plays piano and organ, loves directing choirs, and wishes he could play golf more often . . . |
